Completed construction on the MG Tallgeese two days ago. I usually feel like taking a break between construction and detailing. I might get started with the seals tonight. View
PS I’m looking for detailing brushes so things like, “fine-tip, ultra detail” etc. At some point I would like to do a MG Sinanju, and hand paint the gold detailing. So a brush or brushes suited to that kind of work would be great. Thanks all
Hey folks, can someone recommend some high quality detailing brushes for paint? I’ve had the Tamiya basic three set, but the two smaller diameter brushes have splayed. USA here, so I guess something available internationally? I also didn’t trust what amazon showed me.

Have you tried asking in a local Artists supply store? Not sure if they are available in the US but maybe “Windsor & Newton” And get good quality Sable, Weasel is better but a lot more expensive and not really necessary.
Am sure you know this clean your brushes often to prevent clogging.
Pretty sure hlj sell some good brushes but not looked yet.
Showing some love for the ground Gundams. I’m planning on doing this as my first series attempt at battle scaring, weathering, and dry-brushing so it may not compare to some of the other guys in here.
Good luck mate. As long as you enjoy yourself on the build I have no doubt it will show though and be a very good contender. Again good luck and enjoy.
I decided to do a gloss coat on the psycho frame. Short of painting the inner frame silver chrome to get the most effect on the PF a gloss seems like a good way to go.
The silhouette certainly looks like the Sazabi especially in the head fins. The backpack looks a little Sinanju inspired. Maybe Katoki is doing an bridge to Unicorn kind of like the Psychoframe for the Nu-Gundam.
