Those Tallgeese kits are made by Dragonmomoko. They’re unlicensed products that are made by basically copying the the original Bandai kit. As some peopel would call them, they’re “bootleg”, though the proper term is counterfit. bandai does make MG versions of the Tallgeese 2 and 3, but they’re exclusives.
That is really good looking. have you considered getting some better hands, like the Hobby base mechanical ones? Something with that much work, and looks that nice, should have hands better then the cheesy ones they give you with most of the master grade kits.
What do you mean by you couldn’t do a clean job? Are you applying the paint directly with markers, or are you bleeding them into a tray and then brushing it on?
That Frame Arms kit makes me wish Bandai would release more MG versions for Musha versions of Gundam. I love the Musha Victory SD, but would love to see a MG version of it.
You do realize that the Federation has committed FAR worse atrocities then any form of Zeon right? They’re actually closer to being the Nazis then anyone.
They oppressed the colonies which led to Zeon’s war for independence.
They refused to let the colony that Zeon dropped hit jaburo and redirected it causing it to hit Sydney Australia killing…[Read more]
Sony has the rights to Robotech!? Would be better if it was the rights to Macross, so that we don’t have the bad story alterations, and unrelated anime forced into it.
I’m rather disappointed in bandai over the RE/100 release of the mk3 and the upcoming GP-04. Both of these are kits that could easily be made into MG kits, as they’re not very large. RE/100 is ok if they’re releasing more kits along the size of the nightengale, but to release two MS that aren’t even in the size league of kits like the Perfect…[Read more]
Well, it’s not engrish, as Schurzum isn’t english. Schur in German means shear, and Schurz in german means Apron. Zeon’s mobile suits all carry Direct German names, or names Derived from modified German words. Although apron would make no sense in it’s name, I guess shear[ing] could, idk.
If you’re not worried about painting and everything, and just want them to stay, you can either use some decal set, or spray the parts with a clear coat after applying decals. Decal set will have instructions on how to use it. Clear coat will let change the look of the kit depending on the type you use(flat or gloss).
The age of a kit does make a difference. 10 years ago, that kit would have looked great compared to it’s HG version. I think there is a new version of it, though I wouldn’t quote me on that as I dislike anything SEED related, as they release WAY to many SEED kits.
A good example of the age of a kit effecting the overall detail, is to look at the…[Read more]
You can apply it directly, or thinned. Make sure that you use the right thinner though, as enamel thinner will cause acrylic to glob up. Acrylic paints you should be more and fine without thinning it out.
that’s a bit shit. Manga models annoy me and I don’t know why.
Because you don’t read manga, Rich.
I’ve read, some, manga.
