Thanks for the invitation,
First the gundam stuff I would love to see:
a PG Shinanju, I think the people would go babnanas if this would happen.
a re- release of the PG red frame with both swords!
and a release of the MG red frame without the ugly backpack.
At the top of my list is a transformable YF-19 with fold booster and missiles!!!
the YF-21…[Read more]
Agreed!! Especially about how Bandai should translate their quality to other series like Code Geass and Evangelion! (Those Akito the Exiled kits… Sheesh!)
yes the akito the exiled kits are just, I dont know, they feel lazy and unispired, just like the valvrave kits.
The evangelion kits also could be better in terms of detail and posability, also bandai still does the thing where they give you like 4 right hands and 2 useless and uncool looking left hands, so dual wielding is impossible, but they…[Read more]
it looks amazing, but too expensive for me after ordering a ton of kits from HLJ (just waiting for the tachikoma re-release, also I would prefer if this were a model kit, I like to build the stuff i’,m going to […]
I have to say this kit is amazing, it looks wicked and it’s big, but I messed up at the end of the build, I forgot to gloss coat, and as a result de decals have alot of…
thanks, but I’ll redo this one, the silvering its just too much, I think I´ll “experiment a little with this kit, some new weathering teqniques that can be applyed over the flat coat, or maybe even practice some battle damage…
to avoid silvering, I put the decals with some Klir (future ?) and then, pass either setting solution or other coat on it
If I have silvering, i try to make tiny incisions with a new X-acto sword, and fill “the gap” with clear coat to get it in, and the, re-do the clear on the model
Finaly, non gundam kits! but, not the zoid please. Just kidding, anything would be nice.
Syd, when are you giving away your macross VF-25 tornado messiah?
noooo I wanted that PG, or the unicorn
Syd you are a really bad actor, give aqway your VF-25 tornado messiah and give it to me!!!!
thaks for the great show
i insist you should do a section were you talk something other than gundam, the new section of us watching you watch something it’s ok, male it more funny!
nice work as allways
Nice review, it’s a shame kotobukia discontinued this model so quickly, I was thinking in ordering this when the logicoma goes out, but for some reason kotobukia decided to discontinue this kit, I dont know why do […]
I made a major mistake on the canopy I applyed too much superglue to the front. and i didnt relize this until I removed the masking tape from the canopy wich is basiclly the past thig I allways do.

thanks man, I don’t like the orange accents, so I decided to change them for a blue/gray color you see there, I did a major mistake on the canopy, the fit was poor, and the canopy didnt stayed therre with the clear glue I ususualy use, so I applyed super glue, too much of it, and it leaked beneath the canopy.. I was tenpted to re do the model,…[Read more]
no ghost for this kit if I read the description made on Hasegawa’s website… maybe later with armament box set ?
I wish !
However, the bandai’s set of 3 ghosts with the rvf25 is still good, and I have 2 ghosts unemployed on my custom list ^^
yes, I have the bandai kit on my collection, (I posted a few pics on the group a few months ago) It is a great kit, but hasegawa allways ads some little details that look awesome!
and the overall is better when in fighter, despite the two kits have very similar proportions.
the detail is better essentially on the cockpit, the other material is good on both – and the bandai’s transforming
I made a comparo for my forum at the issue of the first 25 by hasegawa
I totally agree with you, hasegawa’s details are amazing all over the kit, also the waterslides are far superior on hasegawa’s kits, but the big selling point for bandai kit’s is the transformation, bandai and hasegawa are both great, it all depends on what do you want. I actually can’t wait for a VF-29 kit, I think bandai is not interested in…[Read more]
Hasegawa is releasing the 1/48 VF-1J http://www.hlj.com/product/hsg65827
Am I the only one who thinks the VF-1 is the ugliest valkrie? I mean, for me, it’ looks almost like a super deformed jet!
Agreed!! Especially about how Bandai should translate their quality to other series like Code Geass and Evangelion! (Those Akito the Exiled kits… Sheesh!)
