I’ve finally completed building this kit! I started adding decals while I wasn’t finished building because I didn’t want to just build straight. I did mess up one decal, so I had to remove it 🙁 Now all I have left is some more decals and panel lining. Time to finish up and submit this!

Thanks! But I would say, Yes you can paint your kit like this. It is extremely easy. I’m also a beginner. So you can take my word. 😀 The only thing I did is just put some weathering and then seals it with a coat. And I think this is what most people here are doing. Bandai did the seal poorly the way they design it. Well, a cheap way to paint is with gundam markers but just becareful with them cuz they can make a huge mess. But, good work man!
At this time of year its easyto get hold of some metalic gold marker pens. I have beeen experimenting with them for detailing frames , just make sure you leave it an hour or so to dry otherwise you will smudge it evereywher like i did.
