I completed the legs to make this chicken walker! I began construction on the arms…and ran into my first problem. The decals for the elbow joint were so frustrating to work with. One arm turned out absolutely horribly…the other one turned out okay. I’d really like to remove them and paint it, but my funds are limited :/ any tips for painting it the right colour for cheap?

Bandai did the seal poorly the way they design it. Well, a cheap way to paint is with gundam markers but just becareful with them cuz they can make a huge mess. But, good work man!
Gehennas’s Gold from Citadel fits the color quite well. It will take multiple coats to get the right color, though.
Yeah, those seals are terrible, which is why I decided to avoid it.
At this time of year its easyto get hold of some metalic gold marker pens. I have beeen experimenting with them for detailing frames , just make sure you leave it an hour or so to dry otherwise you will smudge it evereywher like i did.
