Ya that was a challenge. The approach I took was to do all the parts completely before assembling. Paint, prime, clear, panel line, decals, clear again. Still some sections that I thought would not get much handling I left unprotected, MISTAKE. That’s some of the touch up work I still have to do. I didn’t realize just how delicate the unprotected…[Read more]
Oh and I used Pledge for the clear coat too for my clear coats. I put two light coats on for each layer. First really light dusting and the second just to wet so it would level.

Hello, i’ve been wanting to try panel separation but I’m not sure how to go about doing it. I think I have an idea but can’t seem to find a tutorial on it.
By panel separation I mean modding one armor piece into 2 to show frame details
I’m thankful for any help or suggestions thank you
Heya guys 🙂 I need to decide which kit to build next, I`m divided between 2 – PG 00 Raiser and PG Strike Freedom. Considering I got both MG and RG versions , which one will I enjoy the most ? 😛
How about the one which was most fun to build as an RG or MG?
Personally I’d go for the Strike Freedom as I like the suit more. Still have to build it as an MG so can’t state anything about the build itself, but after building the MG OO and not liked the build that much (maybe because I don’t like the suit that much) I guess, read hope, the Strike…[Read more]
Well thing is – as an RG I enjoyed the 00 Raiser more, but as an MG – the S.F Full burst wins. But nevertheless decided to get the Strike Freedom, since I have an idea how to repaint it 🙂
Thanks for the input 😀
You’re welcome 😉
Never would have guessed that there would be a huge difference between building an RG and MG version of a kit. Maybe because I never build an RG….
Could you let me know how building the PG stacks up next to the MG Strike Freedom?
Not sure if this is the right thread for me to ask this but I am starting a custom painted kit bash and I was wondering how I would go about painting it? Should I build the kit then take it apart by sections and paint it area by area (eg: build kit then remove both legs, paint them, then remove both arms paint, then chest, paint etc) or should I…[Read more]
I think it totally depends on you, both methods works for me. If you’ve got the whole color scheme figured out you could do it in sections first.
Personally I snap build first, then figure out which colour goes where etc. Then disassemble/paint by sections (i.e. arm, torso etc). That’s just how I like to do kits. I know guys that build them in…[Read more]
