My 1/2400 Zanzibar. This kit had been sitting around collecting dust so I decided to finish it finally. Its a great kit for only 2 dollars and some change. Some size comparisons with my 1/2000 Musai and a preview for whats in works.
Nothing fancy this time around but every collection need one! The classic GM! All I need now is the GM2 and the family will be complete. GM with GM3 for comparison.
Going to start working on my HGUC GM and to my surprise when I opened the box instead of seeing white I saw more of a blueish color. On the box art it appears more white and when I went back to watch the original anime it seems to vary depending on the scene. Was wondering how you guys treated an original GMs color scheme.
I always think of the GM as white like it was in the anime. Even though if I look back at the promo images and line arts it’s mint green, I always think of it as white like the gundam.
It’s Off white and Red. Basically, you want a VERY light ghost grey, and a orangish red. Those are your main colors. Just make sure that your ghost grey has the appearance of neither white nor grey.
Not sure if this is the best section to post these. I wanted to start documenting my work more professionally and make it into a photo book. My goal is to make books based on…
Nice set of photographs. Some of them seem underexposed though. Also, bumping up the contrast (+ clarity) and saturation (or vibrance) may help make them pop more. I use Lightroom in case you’re wondering.
If you can use a seamless background, it would look even more professional. What I mean is you can’t see the line where the table meets the…[Read more]
Hey thanks for the feedback I really appreciate it. I’ll take some of your ideas into consideration and I also want to pick up a tripod soon as well. These photos were a very spur of the moment idea I had using various things I had around the apartment to set up. I’ll pick up something to soften the light and also pull out my reflector to get some…[Read more]
I’m learning too as can be seen from my posted pics; every single one is photographed differently.
I bounce my flashlight off the ceiling to create a softer light. I have been using a 50mm lens. I should try my 150mm next time so I don’t have to stand so close to the object which hopefully will have shine a bit more light to the front. The white…[Read more]
Yeah I think using a tripod would create less shake thus sharper images overall. Then there is always the issue with any project model making ect of when do you stop trying to push perfection and just get the project done, but on other other hand Rome was not built in a day.
Hey guys never posted my collection before so I decided why not! I mainly build HGUC with a few MGs here and there along with some other scales depending on the kit. Enjoy!
Its the clear deactivate unicorn but instead of using the gray pyscoframe I used the green pyscoframe from the full armor unicorn. I then used the Gray psycoframe on the normal unicorn to create the deactivate unicorn seen at the end of Ep. 4.
BB Senshi Neo Zeong: Where to start other then I love this guy! Fully painted for the exception for a few stickers: Mono eye, Neo Zeon symbol, Sinanju markings, white on the…
I really like the unicorn gundam, so I am very excited about the new PG version of it. I don’t really think I will get the LEDs, though, just because of the price. Aside from that, I am actually quite liking the […]
This will be my first PG and I understand your thinking of how getting 10 HGs VS paying x amount of money for one kit seems practical. I primarily build HGUC myself with a few MGs in my collection but it is […]
Now the real question will be should I pick up a 2nd one in the future to display the unicorn mode…with our luck they will release a full armor set in some fashion that I will want also. I really hope we see a […]
I love the Gundam Epyon! It’s one of my favorite Gundams, and I even have a couple of the old NGs coming in soon from HLJ. It would be really cool to have the 1/144 right next to the 1/100 on my shelf.
P.S.
