Not sure if this is the correct group but i figured I’d give it a shot 🙂
OK I really want to start airbrushing and want to get everything right the first time in terms of equipment and extras. I have a few hundred dollars to spend as I just got my bonus from work. What exactly do I need to fully start airbrushing and what should I get?
Yeah I wanted to go for the Smart Jet, but due to my budgetary restrictions (the missus), I got the Revolution, and Sprint Jet, also bought in stages, the cleaning jar (because I can use that to rest the airbrush), cleaning brushes, and both the types of thinner used for acrylic and enamel paint, to help clean whatever I used in the airbrush.
The PG Unicorn will have to be really something special to really make it the next generation of Perfect Grade model kits. Come with LEDS to light up the frame, fully transforming head without having to take the sides off, Come with the DE, there is zoo many things they could do with a Unicorn PG that always makes me excited on what Bandai would…[Read more]
I agree, it would definitely have to put the MG version in it’s place. I don’t think there’s too much doubt that could do that, the engineering on the PGs from when they first came out still holds up today. The unicorn is also my favorite gundam series in a long time and I would love to have it in a PG just cause of how unique of an MS it is
Metal Build Destiny looks soooooo goooood 😀 Gotta thank my mom for getting this for me as a apartment warming gift / Christmas present! 😀 Love you mom! 😀
Yeah mine is going to arrive soon as well! 😀 No problem at all! Happy to oblige! 😀 I shall be posting lots of pics either here or on my site GunplaGamer.com 😀
Here is the start of my OOB build of Harute that I got for Christmas from my sister and her boyfriend. They also got me SkyGrasper but that will be much later as I want to do an ultra detailed look to it…anyways…let me know what you guys think so far.

Yeah Bandai themselves don’t know how to spell it yet XD they have been doing Phenex, Fenex, and Phoenix in official marketing materials. Also the new Gundam series is Build Strike and there are variants of build strike, which you could say are also variants of Strike gundam xD
Gunpla TV usually comes up every Thursday, 🙂 They have been on Vacation for around week or two. Look forward to the next episode or the one after to check out my Metal Build Destiny that will be appearing on the show! 😀
second off, while I may disagree about the build strike I am totally with you on the unicorn just how big of a main suit that gundam has become and the amount of sales they get on ALL of it’s models, no doubt in my mind that we can hope for it. plus that psycho frame would also be PG and HY2M gold

I would love to see a Perfect Grade Unicorn Gundam model kit too, I think that it would look really awesome. I also would love to also see a perfect Grade Banshee as I think that would be awesome as well.
The Iwata starter set is great – that what I got from my local art store when it was on sale and I’ve been very very happy with it.
A spray booth is a great idea. I got a Artograph Model 1530 which is working well for me, especially as I pipe the fumes outside.
You’re certainly on the right track.
