some times i use bbq skewers and stick tac some times works better then aligator clip

i use those too with electrical clips as tips.

I use anything that’s flat. Tape masking tape inside out on it to stick to some parts. I do have hundreds of alligator clips though.

Why not try a more subtle version of the current colors? A more muted blue and a red that slightly orange tint.
To me the full packages color combination is iconic enough that it doesn’t need to be changed.
