The big guns. You know it when you see it. Airbrushed with highlights, heavy modifications using putty and plastic, even a creation all your own that has never been seen before. Show some heavy duty damage or add those little touches that make it life-like.
Post at least 4 work in progress photos over the competition period into the group you have joined on hobbylink.tv. The first photo posted should be of the model kit box you intend to build.

Glue them back on. I do that sometimes. Pick it out of garbage, glue, putty, sand, etc. Epoxy putty even. Or even scratch build it from spare parts.
They are so inconsiderate, we should go there, stand outside and make them re open for business for a few hours just to make the parts you need then they can go back out of business just so you can finish your build.
I am making a really nasty sign to hold up with bad words on it right now!!!!.
That will show em!!!. 😉
But in all seriousness i do feel your pain.
The ones I cut off are toast. I’m going to see about tracking down another set. They have really nice detail. If it comes to it though I might cut the parts I need off of one of my other builds.
My resin su-33 cockpit was made for Trumpeter so it took me more work to fit Hasegawa. I agree if you buy an orange, you get an orange.
Ha ha 😛
I have to pull myself together! Okay, got this. 🙂
An idea: you could buy the same kit again, use the missing part from that kit, finish the contest build. And build the new build later on for fun. Maybe different color scheme and decals from 3rd-party even.
