I’m in the unfortunate position of being in the UK but not on the mainland. Trying to get back into model building and was looking for a top coat. Specifically I wanted the tamiya ts-80 clear matte as I hear it’s good. But I haven’t been able to find anywhere that will ship it to me. Does anyone know of any decent top coats I can off the shelf in a local car shop or something.
Note: there are no model/hobby shops where I live.

  Hi, go to a supermarket and see if you can find Pledge multi-surface wax. This is the “improved” version of Future/Klear that is on the UK market now. It looks milky white but dries clear and gives a good top coat – can use it for everything that Future is/was used for although I’ve not had good results when used with water slide decals. Are you sure you can’t get hold of any Humbrol products? Their Clear is excellent.
