IS this the Wing Gundam that’s coming out in MG version? Looks slightly different from the photos someone shared. This guy is the 1/60 version (displayed at my office cubicle which is starting to look like the HLJ office! 😛 )
@superxvegito, yes, it does transform (@ryan, *winkwink* again) but it’s quite a simple transformation process, nothing complicated. You kinda put the shield over the head, spread the wings on the backpack, fold the feet and that’s pretty much it. But then again, this is technoiogy circa 1995. Pretty good for its time i must say…
i’ve got this one sitting at home on my shelf, it was the third gundam i had done, when i started……well lets just say quite awhile ago 🙂 (mid 90’s sounds familiar)
back then it was hard to find gundam where i live so you grabbed whatever you saw. i gave it my best effort back then but had to do touch ups later once i got a little more skill
While it looks like the Wing Zero Gundam the MG coming out is the protozero, what this really means I have no idea but expect revisions to the actual design much like what they did to the other wing MG kits
proto zero means it’s prolly the original wing zero, It is mentioned somewhere that one was made by the scientists before Quatre Raberba Winner made the one thats seen in the show. However at the time it was , like the Tallgeese , too powerful but also because of the Zero system too dangerous for anyone at the time to safely use so they destroyed it

At 1/60 does that thing transform? Love that look of the Wing Zero and hope that’s what the MG looks like too.
