We’ll I wound up spraying sone zaku parts in the kitchen tonight learned my lesson about mr hobby gundam color paints though. wound up with a towel wraped around my head. Are mr hobby paints laquer that stuff is terrible, makes enamel thinner a pleasureble smell
Ahh. Yeah dude. You need ventilation and a respirator for lacquer paints. That towel is really not going to do anything. I’ve been using them for a while now and can’t fathom how you managed to use them without a proper respirator.
Mirror selfie! Seriously dude, protect your health. I use a 3M respirator with a pair of chemical cartridges. That little doctors mask won’t do anything. You probably never considered using a respirator until now, since you only hand painted water based paints, but lacquers combined with the propellants in the can are nasty. Fumes can do a lot of damage, so protect ’em!
Those Zaku parts sure look great, though. Mr. Color spray cans are some of the best I’ve ever used.
Thanks on compliment! As far as a respirator I’m definitely getting one come check time wendsday before I spray any more of that mr. Hobby, I’ve dealt with all sorts of paints in my life and never dealt with that bad a fumes, that includes when I worked with my dad spraying fed-ex equipment.
And that’s the only mirror selfie I think I’ve ever taken lmao I thought I looked quite hilarious.
That is your punishment for posting a selfie. 😉
