First off I would like to congratulate StukaJr for taking 1st place, I followed your work in the group while drooling at your awesome piece. I am super happy you won mate – Syd and Ryan chose well!
Thanks one more time to Hobbylink Japan for hosting this competition and a merited pat on the back to all the modellers who took the time to enter. The comradeship and encouragement was fantastic – in fact it felt more like a group of old friends meeting together and building models than a competition!
Well done to all!
A question – Can we post pictures on our blogs now or do we still have to wait until a certain date?

Thank you very much for your compliment, Night Runner – I’m in a slight state of shock and cannot really express myself coherently (though I’ll still try)
My gratitude to the organizers of the event, judges and community of Hobbylink Japan at large – it’s very difficult to summarize the constant boost of motivation every time I visit and what great portal this is. Everybody’s work, work and ingenuity – shared for everybody’s enjoyment. I can only hope that I can give something back, as it still feels like I crazyglued that part to my finger and it just won’t come off… I kid – I still do it quite a bit!
This is by far the biggest and the most talented pool of competitors that has gathered. Set your sights to even bigger and better 2014! Look towards everybody’s work in the new year!
