Gundam Forums 9 years, 1 month ago Prepping a SMS 1/24 Hi Nu bust for my friend. For doing it, i get a Gouf Custom Conversion kit for a gouf 2.0. I need to find a built 2.0 on the cheap end. I feel like i got the short end of the stick, this bust needs alot of work and is huge! lol

He got this one from SMS. He has another one for sale, but we have to take one of the parts from it to recast since this kit was missing that part. Once that’s done he would most likely sell it.
Do they have an online store or a retailer that you can suggest?
Hoping there’d be a Strike Head or a Unicorn Head
They make both of those. There is a 1/35 Unicorn Head and 1/25 Strike Head, but you can also get a 1/48 plastic Unicorn head much easier. Also, resin isn’t really super easy to work with. Requires alot of prep work.

The details on that thing are just astounding. Say bye-bye to that bottle of Mr. Surfacer, because it’s going to be used up all the way (along with probably a second bottle).
Yea that’s just a bottle i made him give me so i can spray to check for missed errors. I think the hardest part of this is gonna be getting this basically completely ready for painting, and then handing it off. Wouldn’t mind tackling this beast.
You just get out of one tedious build for the next ain’t it? Can’t wait to see what you do with it.
Just realized I misread. Primer probably won’t be as impressive as a finished kit lol
Plus this isn’t that tedious. I don’t have any real deadline to meet. I’m not expecting to finish this anytime before the summer.

So this kit is missing a huge part. My friend is contacting the company, but i convinced him to let me prep something else instead. XD Hopefully i’ll trade it off sometime this week.
