Macross Kits 9 years, 2 months ago I managed to pick up a Yamato 1/60 unassembled VF-1A kit . Question is what paint scheme would look well on this blank canvas? Some lesser known paint scheme from the Macross universe maybe? Any suggestions?

I say: go for your own paint scheme and youll love the final result.
haha, If I were to fly one I wouldn’t be able to see the paint scheme with me clambering wildly into the cockpit of that bad girl! 😀
I’m thinking Arcadia could possibly release some more paint schemes of the main characters, Max, Milia etc so thinking maybe something like the low vis options… These ones are tempting!

I made 2 1/60 VF-1A TV Alaska and 1 in 1/48, all on Yamato toys.
I have also yhose unpainted unsassembled VF-1, I’m working on 2 Minmey guards and 1 minmey 2009 paint scheme.
As Angelizer said, just do your pattern, even if it’s not “anime accurate”, you can just tell it a custom, that’s what i do on my valks and I love doing it, I’ll never stop !

This just arrived in the door this morning, and had a few moments to check it out! So far I like it, everything comes packed separately, one manual to show how to build it, one for the standard transformation and a sheet of stickers.
