Actually, it hasn’t been done that many times. I’ve only seen one other person do it, and I’ve been in this competition since they announced it. Be careful with the waterslides. They are known to tear very easily.

Nice , i have the ver ka waiting to be built. Most that i have seen built have painted the gold trim as it is easier and better looking from what i have read. Look forward to seeing how you get on eith yours , happy building.

Hey, Good luck on your Sinanju build! It’s a real challenge but it’s pretty fun along the way. I would not actually recommend the waterslide decals for the trim as they look really cheap and wrinkly even after mark softer (not to mention they tear really easily). If you’re not planning on reverse washing the parts I’d recommend cutting the gold foil stickers to remove the black parts of them, then spray/hand painting the stickers your desired shade of gold.

The stickers actually don’t look half bad and they can be used for masking on the shield which is a real brutal piece to paint. Simply paint the whole shield gold, stick the stickers down really well, then paint black over it. This works for the large red piece on the shield too, which is equally difficult to mask with tape or hand paint.
