Beginner Modeler – Modeling Competition 2013. 9 years, 5 months ago A few people have been asking me what supplies I have been using so here it is. I have a very minimum set-up and it may not be very practical or common when it comes to the paint but it has always worked for me and I have always been happy with the results. Also included a photo from my previous post so you don’t have to scroll up and down to have a look.

That looks good! Does it scratch easily? Do you do a clear coat over it?
No I have never done a clear coat. It can scratch off with force of course. I find it useful if I’m not happy with how a certain color is looking. Some times when moving the legs the skirts will scratch off some of the leg paint but thats rare, and easy to touch up but like anything else if you treat it with care it will be just fine.
That’s awesome. You did a great job hand painting the kit. I have super shaky hands so I feel a lot more confident with spray paints.
Thanks! I feel that hand painting gives a personal touch to the kits. I also feel that since I spend time painting each individual piece by hand that I know the kit inside and out.
