Here is the Red Frame. This was my first kit in over three months. The lighting, background, and camera aren’t the best, but I put them together in less then five minutes. The camera seems to exaggerate the shadows, so some of the detail is shrouded. I’ll probably try my hand at another kit and apply what I learned with this build.

    • The camera also seems to exaggerate the nub marks.

    • Good job man! It’s looking awesome. How many decals did you put on that left shoulder?

    • Nice work mate.

      • Thanks everybody! This is a really nice kit for posing, but it’s a little awkward in my hands, since there are so many moving parts. I did try to paint the fingers, but it just created tons of brush strokes. As of now I have not found any good white paint to hand brush. Suggestions would be very helpful for the future. I put two decals on the left shoulder. One is a sticker decal, another is a dry transfer. Basically every decal you see is a dry transfer. There are about two sticker decals I put on, and that’s it.

    • Looks good, I do love the Red Frame,

    • I only see one possible nub mark on the right wrist. Everything else looks really well done. I still have issues with finding good poses so you ain’t the only one, haha.

Regarding the paint, maybe try out Vallejo Model Color? They’re ridiculously easy to work with and are thinned reliably with water and Future.

      • Thanks! That mark was actually molded in the plastic. Both wrists have it. I almost cut it off. It seems to be part of the design. And thanks on the tip with Vallejo. I’ll have to check that out.

    • Wow, such a nice clean build to the astray.

    • Good work! I know what you mean about the fingers. I got lazy on painting those, since it does require a lot of patience. :/
