Hobby lounge 9 years, 5 months ago Would you consider yourself an introvert? An introvert is not just someone who doesn’t talk… I think it goes deeper than that. I am most definitely one . I think by the nature of our hobby most of us shld be. We introverts prefer to have lotsa “me” time, we hate crowds, we are quiet with strangers but give us a topic we are passionate abt and we go on and on… and we are chattier online than in person… so if that describes you, welcome to the Official HLJ Introverts Association 😀

Count me in in mate! Im exactly all those things you’ve said hehe I’m an introvert and embracing every bit of it! Once i discovered that word at the beginning of this year, my life just got better.

LOL! @philliptan I think I am in some ways. I prefer staying at home during weekends. Spend extra time strolling in the mall all by myself on a Friday night scouting for new hobby stores, gunpla, paints, tools and other stuff related to our hobby.
I agree with you Bro, I don’t know if how many of us gonna be as talkative here than in person. hahaha!
But if you’ll consider it on a brighter side, If ever and I really wish would happen that we’ll have a gathering I think there’s gonna be no awkward silence Bro. Remember, we are all here because of one common interest, The HOBBY. I bet if were all sitting in one table there will be no space for silence as we have lots to talk about, lots to share, ideas, thoughts, and experiences. We’ll never know maybe our conversations will start about our hobby and then goes on to other topics like this group. We talk about different things not just gunpla and other kits. I gotta say, this lounge is so relaxing.

Yeah big time introvert here. It’s not that I don’t like people. Honest. I just prefer to do my own thing quietly. I can go do all the “normal” things that the extroverts do but I just need my quiet time to relax and get right with myself. I especially enjoy hobbies that let me completely clear my mind. Gunpla used to be my method then I discovered farming in video games. I’ve come back to gunpla and enjoy it even more than before.
I try not to talk to much in a group but one on one in an actual conversation I’ll talk your dang ear off.
