Advanced Modeler – Modeling Competition 2013 9 years, 5 months ago Okay I can not enter the VF- 11 D thunderfocus mainly because i was stupid ! The kit comes with a bunch of green color decals but appearently not all of them, actually very important ones, so having not noticed this issue i started the decalling of the legs and wings and after i put up my last pics noticed i would have to airbrush the green colors on the legs ” very big screw up” concidering id have to tape off over the decals i had just put on to air brush that green color, so im gonna scrap that kit and put it away for another day, im prolly gonna strip it and make my own color scheme. that sucks.
Anyway instead i will be entering the Viper Mk VII from Battlestar Galactica, what Ill prolly do is light up the cockpit, engines, nav lights, and prolly build some sort of space diarama.

What do you mean short of decals? Did you buy from someone personal collection…? But anyway, this Viper… I love it, too bad my local store selling this kit in ridiculous price… Can’t wait to see the build… 🙂
Nau, it wasnt second hand, it had a full sheet of decals but not all that is required to do the job. Which is really stupid on hasegawas hand, i mean if your gonna supply the decals dont give partial give us the full sheet or leave the green camo out and specify a full paint job.
The Viper will be sweet, im gonna buy this awesome brass cockpit that is identical to the full size studio model,plus it comes with instrument films that are to be lighted with white led’s.. cant wait to order, its not cheap $29 on starshipmodeler.com but worth it. 🙂 !! How much is the Viper where you live?
Oic…I get what you mean now… When I did the F-22A Raptor, also find it difficult decal on it, end up I scrap all of them and buy a sheet of Fightertown decals as replacement, anyway that F22 Raptor is going for Starscream camo… LOL~
Well, I live Singapore, the Viper I saw with the price tag of S$69.90 (around USD55.) I’m so addicted after watching the series of Battlestar Galactica blood & Chrome… damn… those Viper is so cool~
Btw, any idea how big is the 1/4105 Battlestar Pegasus? Is not cheap here (S$89.90)…but If is big, I think I go online and get it. thanks…
The Pegusus is about 16 inches and is $45 here on starshipmodeler.com. i built the Gallactica check her out on my profile you might like it. I kinda liked Blood and Chrome but that series is terrible compared to the last BSG on scifi. . checkit out
