I’m going to have to say models instead of figures (but some figures can be pretty damn awesome).

True story: I brought a girl home one night and as she was looking around my place her eyes settled on my display cabinet that had about 20 completed kits of airplanes, tanks, and some sci-fi. She asked me “Did you make all these?”, and I told her “Yes”. She spent about a good ten minutes looking at all of them and asked some questions here and there.

She finally turned to me said said in a sultry voice “I bet you’re really good with your hands” then took my hand and led me to bed. And I’ll stop there as this is a family site. 😉

The point is, while some people look down on our hobby, there are many others that think it’s a pretty cool thing. 🙂
