Started on the 3.0, the amount of detail on such a small scale is incredible, and I need new glasses 🙂 Hats off to those who build the even smaller RG.
If you didn’t have the Ma. K. coming up I’d say add some weathering effects or battle damage. It would look pretty amazing on that kit. Plus yours would probably be one of the first of those kits to get that treatment.
The Core fighter can’t fit into the chest while the LED is in there. The replacement Core Block will fit, though.

I mess up that core fighter while I was building my RX-78-2 Gundam (Ver. 2.0)
The core fighter was kinda tough, almost messed it up, but after a couple of hours it made sense.
@ryan mate, u need to start building smaller scale kits lol… Helps get the fingers to be more nimble lol… Looking good!!
This is about as small as I want to go!
Lol that’s what she said but for real I love1/100 seems to me its the best for price and detail
HAHA
I’m with you Ryan. 1/144 is a bit too small for me too.
I might, but I also might keep the painting for the next Ma.K kit.

Not a bad idea 🙂
You build a modified fighter when you want to include a LED.
