Advanced Modeler – Modeling Competition 2017 6 years, 1 month ago Here’s a comparison shot for now of the current modifications I’ve done. The left image is taken from Tai Factory. I’m pretty please of the current progress. There are some more mods in the works and some true scratch building of parts ahead. I’ve been trying to keep the modifications subtle and make it look as close to the stock features and probably color too. I’ll go crazy with the back pack instead.

Thanks. I wanted to post more pics but ill wait until i have more of the mods done. Those shoulder pads need some open hatch gimmicks and i need to find a way to mount all the GN drives i have lying around.
This is looking really cool – not a suit that I have on my wishlist but maybe your thread will change my mind, just wondering – what is Tai Factory? A previous custom you like or an original look…I am not familiar with the kit so need to get my head around what it looked like before it was Ronin’d ha
That kit on the left is just a straight built MG 00 QanT. It was painted by Tai Factory. I had to credit image where i got that from.
To be honest, the 00 QanT is not the ultimate choice i would have made for this contest, but i owed it to my son to finally finish this build for him.
Right now my main goal it to make this as close looking to the MG QanT as possible but add as much modifications as possible that you can only see in close inspection. I will reserve all the crazy mods mostly on the accessories that it will come with it.
cool dude. Looks super poseable as not much chunky armour in way of joints – that should allow some badass display
