Beginner Modeler – Modeling Competition 2017
The criteria for judging is stated at the top of the page for each category.
For beginners, “Some panel-lines, decals, a touch of marker here or there and even hand painting is accepted.”
Winner are chosen by entering the contest correctly (see contest rules) and then staff at HLJ will pick the best out of the entries for the category. Link: http://hlj.com/plamo-2017#howto
If HLJ feels like that your entry should be in another category, they will move you up.
