Aircraft Modelling 9 years, 9 months ago Well here’s one I finished at the beginning of the year – Academy 1/72 SB2C-4 Helldiver. This kit came with PE dive brakes, I added the interior PE from Eduard too.

Mate, wow this is quality work right there. Keep up showing your work it really inspiring.
I really like the amount of internal detail for the cockpit.
Thanks very much Rhys – believe me I have quite a bit I could put up but I don’t want to be the only guy on here building aircraft although it does seem that way at the moment hahaha. Never mind though I’ll get some more stuff up I’m glad you like it.
I’d bet. I’m still working on my first property aircraft model. It the super marine sea fire fr.46 by air fix. With hope this month I could be putting up so WIP of it.
That’s an awesome kit – I’ve done it myself, actually quite a big fan of airfix and their recent stuff. I’m looking forward to seeing your WIP.
how did you do the paint chipping
I just used an old thin brush that had some worn bristles dipped in a little acrylic aluminum. I jabbed it lightly on the surface, the bad bristles ensured the result would be random which I thought makes it a bit more realistic.
