    • If you enjoyed the ARF then you should definitely look into some of the other RGs. While not all as articulate once completed, they’re extremely fun builds.

    • Yeah, I enjoyed this kit allot. honestly. I was loosing the interest on the hobby, but this kit reminded me how fun and rewarding this hobby can be, I’ll try other RG’s for shure, and as I said I really hope Bandai one day release the big bad guys on RG form.

    • Excellent work. You can build only so many stocks before you get bored. Try to spice things up. Like changing the color schemes, adding custom decals & metal parts, weathering, taking a break, branching out into non-Bandai kits, or even other kinds of kits. If i have the time & money, I’d get the entire RG collection. IMO, RG is a waste since the inner frame won’t be shown in most builds & the kit takes much longer to build than HG. I prefer HG cuz I can mess it up & it’s no big deal.

    • yes, I do all that, follow the link to my blog and check out my other stuff, if you look closely to the logicoma, it is fully painted, weathered and with custom decals. Nowadays I rarely build a bandai kit, they usually bore me or annoy me, but this RG Astray was simple and fun. I didn’t do weathering on this kit because of the stickers, which is one of those thing that annoy me about bandai, stickers, on a model kit???? but i did paint it, if you look closely there are three shades of red, and three shades of white/gray, did allot of small details etc.

    • No, by stock I didn’t mean no painting, but painting as the instructions say, to the letter. No color change. No modding. No kitbashing. No custom parts. Like stock cars, they bore me to no end. I can see ’em on the streets, why would I build ’em? Race cars & bikes, on the other hand, are a different topic.

I totally don’t get RG’s reasoning. If we are to build the most detailed kit, we would use waterslide decals or nothing. Some Bandai kits come with water slides. If it’s HG, I can understand stickers.

Also, try resin kits. That’s the shit. Or a gunpla kit with resin conversion or upgrade parts. A custom color scheme. Some metal parts. Water slide decals.

      MG’s & PG’s are more interesting than RG’s & HG’s.
