Hey guys, so… i have to ask: is the PG Unicorn Worth it if you do not plan to put the LED’s in??? I REALLY NEED TO KNOW ASAP!!!!!!!!!! thanks!

    • I’m building it at the moment and have the LED set, but can tell you that it is a great kit. The way it is put together, the amount of detail, the movement of the knee, the transformation, the weapons… In my opinion, everything is great, except the stickers…..
If you have the opportunity and like the design of the Unicorn, get it! You can decide later to get the LED set. There is a section in the manual how to take certain things off to install the LED’s

      • I don’t think I will get the LED’s if not before u put it together… I had to order off of Amazon to get the unicorn it’s self and it was way more expensive. . And the LED’s are like 150 off amazon.. hlj.com is backordered…idk what to do!!!

        • Like I said, it is not that hard to put them in afterwards. And the next batch of Unicorns is scheduled for March or early April. And I guess it will be the same the LED set. It is cheaper at HLJ, that’s for sure, but you also need to take shipping costs in consideration. Depending on which side of the world you live, this could also get expensive. Try checking it out at HLJ. Then combine it with the actual costs of the LED set and then way it off to the 150$ at Amazon…

    • I’ve now finished the PG Unicorn and I’d say go for it. It has such amazing engineering that you’ll be constantly entertained while building it, even without the LEDs. The LEDs look nice once it’s done but if you don’t think you’ll use them much then don’t sink that much money into them.

      • Can he hold up any of its weapons?? if he cannot i dont see the point in the kit…

        • It can hold up the weapons with ease. The joints contain a combination of poly caps and some sort of hard plastic called POM. It makes them really stiff.
Just like Nick said, go for it if you have the opportunity. In my book, it’s thé kit of the last few years!
