chip the decals alittle to make it look like theyre wearing off or fading off i dont think its waterslides so i dont no how to explain how to do that but looking nice so far
it looks like stickers. My best guess would be gently using the back of exacto knife to try scrape it a bit but im not sure – i never use bandai stickers cause they just look bad. @hellgatex
On the topic of battle damage (at least for those kind of scratches you did) I think the better result would be to do them first and then dirty the kit. Most of the scratches would accumulate over time so having all fresh scratches isnt realistic. You also need to thing over which places are prone to scratches (and remember the size of the actual gouf). The head is mostly done correctly – you could maybe add some delicate scratch mark from the power cables on the actual head (sorry im rather bad at explaining it) in a place when the two could get into contact. Also the nozle (or what ever its called on the head) could have aditional scratch mark from below (never build the gouf so you need to check it) in a place where it could touch the chest, and in lowest part of the powercables (interaction with the shoulders and the torso). Hope to see the rest of the build.
