Thanks! i found it easy to use an exact-o knife to carve a little around where i want the paint to stop so there was little cleanup i had to do with the sandpaper after it dried.
Yes, I agree. I entered in beginner because I was not sure what to do with this kit.
I think staff will move me up, according to latest video they shall do it.

I have started top coating both my inner frame and armour pieces… I used gloss for the frame and flat for the top… I think top coat makes everything just look finished!
Thanks! and I used lacquer paint for all of it which was easy enough on the panel lines with grooves but the ones that are just 90* angles were much more difficult. I think it gave it a sight weathered look though as if its been out in the field a bit.
I see. I noticed that too, when you erase your mess-ups it tints the plastic slightly to give it that pre-shading, weathered look. Very nice job on it though!

Finished completion of building my first model kit! Just some a few quick views here and some poses I’m thinking of using. I’m in the processes of panel lining it right now.
