Is your airbrush new or used ?
genreal advices:
-clean the airbrush before first use if you bought it used
-give the primer bottle a good-long shake before using
-thin the vallejo primer a little (with vallejo thinner): few drops of thiner every 4 ml primer is a good starting point
Hi, I use Vallejo Model Air because I’m a beginner and you can use them without thinning (well.. almost all of them but not all).

I use Vallejo air for most of my projects and I find they generally don’t need thinning. If they do, I stick with the Vallejo thinner. I’ve tried isopropyl and the Tamiya thinner, but they turn the Vallejo into a clumpy mess. Something about the chemistry just does not mix.

I’ve built the “PG MS-06F Zaku II 30th Anniversary Extra Finish Version”. It was lot of fun but, as Nick said, shoulder mounting is really loose… arms can pop out when you try to pose the model.
Also, the lighting circuit is … well… ridicoulous. It needs a miracle to works, better modify it with normal wiring.
