I finished this a few days ago, solid kit. I pretty much did a straight build and flat coated it. I wish the ankles were better though, they didn’t cut it compared to the RG, curious to see how the PG is as I have that in the backlog. View
Do my eyes deceive me Ryan is building another model kit again?!? Spectacular news! Also have you watched Gundam Thunderbolt, and what did you think of it?
Hey Syd, Ryan and Todd, great episode as per usual. I think building on from Sargent Peppers comment about this being a great year for gunpla, when does Gunpla have a bad year? What makes gunpla so exciting is the the amount of growth kits go through to pack more detail, more articulation, more gimmicks, less stickers and engineering. Compareing…[Read more]
Great episode Syd and Todd (feels weird to not mention Ryan). Fun fact about Break Blade, when the anime was made the manga was not finished and thus devised their own ending. Its also well worth watching despite the mechs being operated by magical energy its combat looks very weighted and realistic.
I’ve found it bizarre that everyone is just satisfied with the new stars wars movies. All we needed was for them to not be garbage thankfully they were not.
I’ve been in a job of high customer service, and from experiencing if you’ve wanted to get anything done you go talk to someone. Directing someone to forums is without a doubt lazy, and often enough the community is more helpful, just look at a recent Bethesda that came out…. and the community will put more effort in to fix it then Bethesda.…[Read more]
News of a Gundam Thunderbolt adaptation is welcome news. But there was also a new trailer for Macross Delta! Animation looks fantastic, definitely going watch this gorgeous anime when it comes out.
I”d say that people are excited over the Iron Blood Orphans kits because they’ve reached a new landmark for HG kits. Of course, I ponder if Bandai will continue this trend for later kits or for anything else new they make? Once again someone on the internet wishes they had a crystal ball to dwelve into the inner working of Bandai
How exciting is the Barbatos folks? A HG with a full inner frame. the 1/100 has a lot to live up to me thinks. Also ironicly with the katshatryia giveaway there was a teaser for it to appear in the RE line… cant imagine the box size….
Love your work as always Syd and Ryan. And Syd don’t worry your not the first person to make a mistake and you most certainly not the last person to make one either. I’ve certainly experienced the pain of waterslides falling off my kits once applied. I feel bad looking at my Sazabi Ver.ka and my Macross Roy Focker Valkyrie.. RIP decals.
Hot dam its a great time to be a poor Student. The hyaku shiki Looks like a real kit of the year contender but December has still yet to play its hand of course. And the Guntank looks like a fun kit to detail up and weather. Keep up the lovely work Syd and Ryan.
The Origin RX78-2 Gundam looks quite nice and it would be nice to see a MG in the near future. That Guntank looks fantastic too. As for shizuoka I was underwhelmed with the MG Red warrior, its not my jam. But the Red frame should be one super poseable kit and the Gundam Leopard was nice to see. but surprised to see no RE announcements though.…[Read more]
Okay so I did a Star Wars marathon last weekend after enjoying the new trailer. And with speculation of quality from J.J Abrams it reminded me of this spoof I saw a while ago of what might happen if good ol George directed it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v93Jh6JNBng
greetings Syd and Ryan, now after watching the new star wars trailer I felt a bit of excitement seeing Han and chewie and like Syd I felt like a kid again. and just last weekend I did a marathon of all of the star wars movies. After dragging myself through the prequels it was magic seeing the first five minutes of a new hope again. Pure magic,…[Read more]
