One of the fisrt Macross kits I built, a few years ago, in 1/60 scale : Yamato’s an Racer.
Since I made 3 dioramas with fan racers, I needed one in landing position, so I had to scratch the landing gear and detailled the cockpit, also made other ameliorations on this tiny aircraft…

I had much fun modding this Fan Racer !

    This kit is an official Yamato (Newly Arcadia) release, the macross toy-maker in 1/60 scale.
    I still got 2 or 3 left if you want one.
    The main challenge was here to create entire details for the landing gears, the other detailling work I’ve done is almost usual in aircraft model kit.
    
    I made 3 dioramas with 3 fan racers : 1 flying (macross Episode 1), 1 landed in the SDF-1 (macross Episode 3-middle) and the last is crashed in the SDF-1 (macross Episode 3-end)
