Bandai MG RX-78-2 gundam Ver.3.0 – airbrushed

Finally finished, I want to give my two cents to this kit review.
I don’t want to start a flame, just sharing a bit of the frustration that I experimented building and posing this kit.

1st : Bandai color scheme guide sucks! I’ll never trust it again and will always test color+varnish on plastic spoons before using the color mixture that they suggest.

2nd: this is MG ver.3… meaning that Bandai is designing these robots from.. how many years now ? 25 ? more ?… and THIS is what they come up to ? Damn, some jr mechanical engineer where I work can do better than this. Obviously this is not a very competitive market, or such things wouldn’t last long.

3rd: High posable my 4ss!! 🙂 legs and arms falling off, worse than classic MG, you re-attach one… another falls off…. sure I’m not one that wants to PLAY with these kits but… posing them is (STILL! after 30 years!!) a nightmare!

Now… let’s go building that 1:1200 Char’s Musai… I’m sure is a better kit than this 🙂
