1:12 Tamiya P-34 – still a strongest potential finisher, firmly in the lead – chassis is pretty much assembled, short of spoiler and radiators. Moving onto the outer bits View
1/32 WingNut Wings Airco DH-2 – about half of the rigging done, wing and nacelle assembly – more rigging, national markings, control planes and weathering to go.
WingNut Wings – AMC DH.2 – 1/32 scale. Lower wing planes and tail section is assembled / painted. The aircraft is starting to sprout lines of rigging – I use “through wing” method, 0.015″ jeweler’s wire is used. Through Wing with wire actually strengthens fragile WWI biplanes in scale.
Thanks for the compliments – it surely feels good! All of my work is Out of the Box, with extra attention to painting and weathering… Though I guess WWI aircraft requires some degree of scratch building in the rigging department.
