Made a start on the weapon but my camera has took it upon itself to erase a few pictures so what i did i used a fruit shoot bottle and covered it with clay and then made it…
Finished the arms, the hands are from a toy not sure of what but i have been wanting to use them for a while and they fit in nicely, i will need to clean up some of the cracks…
Woo hooo, ok I grabbed a few yogurt containers and cut them in half then covered them in clay to make the shoulder armour, I really want the armour to look really beat up.
I…
Oh yeah and I have now put the engine and some engine bells with a few other things on the back of the body.
I made the engine bells from the tops of sherbert containers then added cogs inside to give them a fancy look.
I really have to commend your creativity, ingenuity, and skill with this. I have been following your updates and have been very impressed, especially when you look at the pile of stuff you started with. Keep it up.
Added armour to the thighs also a few more leg greeblies , I am making the leg and thigh armour more damaged than other parts by adding scratches and dents.
The tugboat has legs!!!
The legs are finished I think , used some spares for the mechanical parts, might add some extra bits later on maybe.
Also clayed some armour around the ankles.
This time i made a back part for the head and used the lid from the comfort bottle and used this with a different lid to make the thigh/hip part.
I put some metal rods through…
Yeah it is fun to mess around with air drying clay and you have a fair bit of time to work with it before it dries, also when it is dry it is fairly easy to sand or clean up with a xacto.
Built up the eye/censor section/at this point it all looks untidy and a bit messy but fill in the cracks ,give it a little time and it should look better shortly.
Also i am thinking about bulking up the chest area a little, not sure at the moment?,mmmm.
I added more clay to the back of the body and added more detail around the body.
I created the screw effect by pushing a hollow tube into the clay and then using a flat head screw driver I pushed the head into the middle of the circle to create a screw head look.
