Update on my 1/100 MG AGE-1 SPALLOW. Finished the body unit. Wow took me about 4 hrs to make. Had a blast. Need to do touch ups when my marker arrives. Tell me what you think.
It’s kinda more challenging then the HG kits. And need more patient it takes more time as the kit is more detailed. Taft is what I have found so far. I mean from a beginners point of view.
I remember when I had my first mg… when is was like 9 lol I did really bad on it and then never but another gunpla kit till now because of the difficulty.
Yeah as for me, i am an old man trying to fill his time before new semester starts, then back to teaching. So got a month to kill time and my pals told me about this kinda like my studets.
Next gonna build this old but cool kit got this while I was window shopping at old area in my city. As I love scuba diving. Looking to collect all the sea or water type mobile suits. Holla if you know any.
Wow it’s the old type, gonna have
To buy some cement for this and also colors. This is one of the very old types.
Gonna do this slowly when I have time.
It’s a nice kit to build. Ism just getting tons of practice before I start my wing MG collection. Bought the whole set here in japan. Got them at a hobby store near my place. They were closing so prices dropped really really low. Got a great bargain for the wing gun dams.
I ordered mine when Ryan announced it of Gunpla TV and I didn’t get any either. I e-mailed HLJ to find out why and they told me to look in side the boxes. They’re in another room so I’ve not checked all of them yet.
Yup checked all the boxes nothing inside but the normal runners that the kit comes with. Maybe better luck on my second order. But plan to try and make a MG type.Something to start off.
Yeah the older HGs have some hard to understand parts in the manual despite the build being straightforward.
Have you decided on your ‘scuba suit’ yet?
As always guys , great show. Love watching it every week.
I would like to know if you guys can a tutorial for building MG type.
If possible if you can show using the nippers and the hobby knife in detail for us […]
Next project in the beginning stages. MK-2 build fighters. Gonna start tomorrow. Doing the precheck.
Might just take a break for today and start tomorrow.
Well done. You did a great job on hiding the nub marks, and the stickers were placed with precision (personally I always have trouble with lining up scope stickers and such, so that really impresses me).
