Not as much as awesome. But some say that G Gundam series suit, especially the God Gundam itself has superb posability options, exceptional overall balance and it doesn’t look half bad either. I’ve built the Spiegel and some other 1/144 kits from the series. 1/144 scale kits need a lot of painting to look almost decent but all painted up they don’t look any short of amazing. Though a lot of work needed there. Spiegel hoewever looks good out of the box. Those MGs from G Gundam series are important because they’re the first kits with complete inner frame, from head to toe. Revolutionary for that time. And they’re dirty cheap to buy too!
I wouldn’t recommend these kits to anyone but hard core collector fans of this series. To the rest they’re just too old and inferior compared to the new kits in so many ways. Crossbone is one of those bling kits everyone likes, EZ8 is a kit more serious builders like, being and older kit with lots of seam lines etc ( a bit more work) but that’s about it. 🙂 That’s just my two cents, some may enjoy themselves building these guys. I did. 🙂 But I’m a G Gundam fan anyway. 😛
I’ve already built the Hito from a while back, and just looking at the contents of the kit, it’s nearly identical with a few obvious additions. My only gripe is the metallic stickers, there’s no way these aren’t the first thing you look at when looking at the kit.
I got my first order in from HLJ!
Nice haul!
I’m interested too see what that valvrave kit turns out like, don’t forget to do a WIP 😀
And you bought the Spiegel too! Haven’t seen anyone buying that guy (except me). It’s a pretty important kit for Gunplars.
Some nice looking kits!
Is the Spiegel that awesome? Been holding off a bit on G Gundam kits myself though I do love the show.
