The tugboat has legs!!!
The legs are finished I think , used some spares for the mechanical parts, might add some extra bits later on maybe.
Also clayed some armour around the ankles.
This time i made a back part for the head and used the lid from the comfort bottle and used this with a different lid to make the thigh/hip part.

Yeah it is fun to mess around with air drying clay and you have a fair bit of time to work with it before it dries,also when it is dry it is fairly easy to sand or clean up with a xacto.
Built up the eye/censor section/at this point it all looks untidy and a bit messy but fill in the cracks ,give it a little time and it should look better shortly.
Also i am thinking about bulking up the chest area a little, not sure at the moment?,mmmm.
I added more clay to the back of the body and added more detail around the body.
I created the screw effect by pushing a hollow tube into the clay and then using a flat head screw driver I pushed the head into the middle of the circle to create a screw head look.
Ok, i cut the top off the comfort bottle and turned it upside down to give the body a shape then applied air drying clay to form the body armour around the robot.
