Yeah, a nice painted kit could look great with this. I figure this technique is all about upping the realism in a different way, so the more realistic your model looks, the better the shot could look.

An interesting tutorial. I’m tempted to try it out as a well painted kit with these effects and a bit of photoshop could give a pretty decent wallpaper or even a series of photos for various uses. Thanks! I’ll be looking forward for the part two.

Applied some LED and long exposure photo magic to my first Gundam model after a 12 year hiatus. I haven’t seen this effect applied elsewhere. What do you think?
Just bought the RG Destiny. Any tips for construction? (My first RG so should be interesting, plus I have lost the use of my dominant hand for the next little while … so very interesting:)
The shoulder joints (where it connects the shoulder to the torso) were quite stiff on mine so be careful of that. Other than that it’s a fun build that looks very good in the end.
