The first Hi-Nu Ver. Ka. finished on this site, as far as I know. Looks great! Nice build. Love the detail of the red painted O-rings on the arms and knees. IMO to leave them white is too plain. I’m planning to paint them a different color too. But I have to finish the MG Destiny first. Did you use the waterslides for the fin-funnels or spray painted them? Anyway, nice job! Nice to see one finished and the decals on it. Happy building!

Were the decals on the fin funnels hard to apply? It looks like it.

Yes, I used the decals for the fin funnels. I used decal softer to help them settle on better. From very close in, you can see they arent perfect, but otherwise look fine.

The decals that go up to the tip of the fin funnel are supposed to wrap around the edge of the tip, but I didnt do that because they’d just peel off right away. So I positioned them further up, turned out well.

looks good. Is the bluish purple more on the blue side or purple side? Cause one pic looks dark blue while the other looks purple.

It is a very definite purple in real life, no hints of blue at all. It seems that cameras struggle with it, but it’s a very nice purple.

The only things I painted were those little O-rings, as mentioned above. Used a red gundam marker, thats about it. Put a few layers of flat coat on top as well.

It’s defiantly one of if not my favorite suits just got mine I haven’t put it together yet ,I wasn’t ready for just how purple it is but it’s growing on me so I think I’ll leave it purple now I have to find the right purple to do the shield I’m thinking of doing it kinda like the old one
