    Hey Syd and Ryan,

I just started watching Gunpla TV about 3 months ago and I wanted to say thank you for giving me the final push into modeling again! It’s literally been years since I touched a model and your show got me into building Gunpla. Now to my actual question, Ive recently finished my first two master grade(one being a Ver. Ka) The Hyaku-Shiki and the Sazabi. However, Im abit nervous attempting to use the flat coat on them. Do you have any recommendations/tips on how to go about this? And also, do you have any recommendations onto the next Kit I should try? As well as the next possible Ver. Ka release?

    • Don’t use flat coat on a chrome kit, there aren’t many top coats that work well with a metalized kit either, I have heard mention of an alclad top coat, but I don’t know if that works on kits that have been painted with a high gloss chrome paint, or plated kits as well?

    • I’ll have to experiment with the runner remains with that alclad top coat, thanks for the heads-up! Cheers. I just finished the MG Infinite Justice and it turned out AMAZING and I placed majority of the decals on it. Now Im debating if I want to go further with that one

    • Okay so the Alclad top coat is ALC-600 AQUA GLOSS, but I have no idea how it behaves on a metalized coated plastic.

    • Thanks for the heads-up!
