POSSIBLE SPOILERS
I personally think thia could have done better, with more done with both of the two storylines in this ep. Really liked the reveal, of how Aila now living with Reiji and Sei, was v.funny But think it could have happily been drawn it out even more.
The actual focus of the episode ie the Meijin fight, with the Character build up ,seemed as flacide as damp lettice. Rushed and not as important and impactful as it should have been.
Both parts deserved full episodes, while Nil’s section could have been expand to fill out the episodes, and act as the intermisson sections in a much greater capcity.

I agree. This should have been a two episode arc. Especially since the next one looks like filler.
I don’t think however we have seen the last of Nil and his experiments on Reiji’s crystal.
Defo about Nils. This is pure conjexture on my part, but I envision Nils’s story arc culmunating at point into the “Breaking throught the wall” episode. At which point we go full blown “The Last Starfighter”.
More speculation, and possibly not a stretch, this will bé the end game of The Final, the cliffhanger as Rieji and Sei disappear to Rieji’s home dimension .
Meijin vs meijin. I didn’t expect that to happen, but it was still as great as all the other epic battles xD
Another great episode! I so hope we get the Exia Amazing and F-91 Imagine kits.
