What are you building? 9 years, 8 months ago Day 3 progress on my Nu Gundam Ver. Ka.
1st time panel lining. I refuse to paint these things (apart form a top coat) so I am working with a gundam marker. I’ve sort of got the process down to get some nice clean lines. The problem is with edges where there isn’t a nice “channel” for the ink to get caught in. I’ve skipped these bits cos the ink just doesn’t stay on enough while I’m cleaning up.

are you directly using the gundam markers at the kit?

Looking good. Buy some of those thicker Gundam markers (metallic or normal) to do minor painting. I too do not paint my kits cos i am bad at it but using these markers to help to make your Gundams look better
Actually good idea 🙂 I was considering some weathering markers as well.
I’m using mechanical pencil, which works well. I sharpen the tip for finer panel lines sometimes.

Looking great, the lines all look very sharp. I’m not a painter either, but panel lining is a must, and usually I do a few different methods per-kit depending on what works best on certain areas. Thanks for sharing!
