More or less finished with the construction work; making the sixteen single AA mounts out of PE took a lot longer than I expected, but was worth it for the extra detail on them in my opinion. Primed everything with thinned auto primer, painted in the linoleum and hull red areas before masking them off and painting everything else gray(sasebo). After that I added some rust and weathering, then realized I`d gone overboard and used some more gray to tone them down. Also primed and painted the base up.

Remaining tasks are a bit of detail painting, final assembly of the painted parts, rigging(competency permitting), mounting on the base and adding water effects over the paint with transparent silicon. I`ll be building and painting the turrets while the layers of water dry. It may be a bit close but it should be finished in time. Hopefully.
