Hello guys. I’m new here.

I’m still begginer about this hobby and i want to try paint my kits. i got some question about painting. hope you guys can help me. (Sorry for my english, btw)

1. do i still need put primer on the piece even though the color of the paint is the same as the piece? ex: paint the body parts of the hg rx-78 gundam with the same blue
2. I see people sand their runners before paint them. what does it do? and which sand paper that we used to sand the parts?
3. Is it okay to paint the inner frame for MG kits?
