MG RX-78 ver. 3.0 – WIP #1

This thing is my first Gunpla in over a year and I’m glad to have my hands back on this plastic. I started on the Core Fighter, and it was pretty fun to build. Next, I just had to put the hands together. This was my first experience with these new fully articulated hands and I really like them. I jumped to building the weapons next just so I could have somethings to play around with in the meantime. They were really simple but I really like them too. I think I’m just having a great time because I’m finally reunited with gunpla. I’ve started working on the upper body and I plan to build the entire inner frame first before putting on the armor pieces.

I’ve been getting comments about painting this thing. I’d love to, but I really don’t have the money and confidence to. I was lucky enough to buy this kit and I’m having a blast just building this thing out of the box. In the future, I’m sure I’ll be more invested in this hobby!
