Activity

Well, I’d better show what I’ve been up to this week. Started the main project of scaling up the 1/144 BuCue to 1/72, hence the previous post with 1/72 support vehicles. This will be my first fully scratch built project and so far it is progressing well. I started with laminating some styrene then cutting and shaping the main leg components, I plan to cast multiples of the feet and joints to save time. In between leg components, I started on the fully articulated neck, used left over ball joints from various MG kits to get the movement. Also started on roughing out the shape of the lower rear half of the torso. Hope to get all the leg parts done in the next week so I can mold and cast them.
