Sounds like it will have to be “Alclad II Pale Gold” to the rescue….
Yeah, I’ve seen pictures of it. Bandai is advertising the gold plating for the wings, but I honestly think that it just makes the regular plastic gold look all the worse.
Bandai should have stuck with one or the other for this kit honestly. I don’t really like the gold plating myself, but this color for the frame is just terrible imo. I’d much rather Badai just use one color of plastic to represent things like gold, makes it a lot easier to go in one direction or the other during painting.
I think bandai just too afraid on the price as with the good gold they may have to increased the price and cheap is one of the reason why rg was introduced. But well I already planned that I would paint them anyway..just dont know if lacquer would eat the frame as the plastic is quite soft in rg line
I regularly use Alclad Chrome on RG inner frames with no bother.
