Finished the Gundam 3.0 a few weeks ago. I had applied panel lines via paint not sure if it was too subtle or not.but it was a little bit tricky at first before I got the hang of it. Decals were applied a day or so later after the Panel lines, Since I had purchased the expansion set you actually get a few variations something that isnt mentioned to my knowledge. you can do the decals for the 1/1 Gundam the 30th anniversary RG Gundam and the Green Gundam!! Top coated with a flat finish and it was done.

I must say the kit looks very Sharp. and In the end I am impressed.This Version of the Rx-78 is definitely worthy of the 3.0 name, the build brings more complexity into the Armour as I mentioned before Most Mg’s would consist of around four to eight pieces to do a leg the 3.0 doubles that and for thoose who have thought it takes away from the inner frame aren’t losing out it’s justa differnt style and the 3.0 has a very fleshed out frame especilly when compared to something recent for example the Proto wing Zero. which has a bizarre chicken looking inner frame. The only thing I don’t like is the Bandai online shop. Why do we need to shop there when a macross a kit releases a expansion pack at retail.

The 3.0 gets my approval how did it stack up for everyone else? I’ll have more pics posted in the completed model section.
